A designer from Old Kilpatrick has created a mini wedding dress for a Channel 4 television show.
Eilidh McConnell designed the dress for Sionann Carmichael, a participant in Married at First Sight.
The show sees couples paired up with people they have never met before and then monitors the progress of their relationships.
The dress was designed for Sionann's marriage to Ryan Livesey.
Eilidh, who attended Gavinburn Primary School and Douglas Academy, has also created a secret commission for Sionann for a reunion episode.
Eilidh said: "We had 48 hours to design and produce the second outfit. It was exciting and the deadline was achieved.
"Nerve-wracking work but pleasant to do."
Before university, Eilidh spent a year studying in China and is fluent in Mandarin.
She then qualified with an honours degree from Heriot-Watt University.
Her time in China is said to have shaped her love of fine silk, and she uses her language skills in Mandarin, Spanish, Italian, and French to assist her in navigating the international side of the design world.
Eilidh said: "Designing pieces for Sionann and Channel 4 has been amazing.
"From the outset Sionann knew what she wanted and was a dream client. It's a treat to work with a client with a strong sense of style.
"Sionann is willing to listen to the design and tailoring process and trusts the team to execute the job perfectly.
"Having experience in the fast-paced bespoke fashion world has made me more creative and very fast in production of client dream dresses.
"I can literally design from a client idea to completion in a few days.
"TV demands this and it is exciting to deliver quality to the screen."
