1. Firefighters take part in Movember

(Image: Archives) The crew at Clydebank Fire Station were finally able to shave off their moustaches after growing their hair to take part in Movember which raises awareness of men's mental health.

2. New store opens up in Clydebank

(Image: Archives) Staff and members of the public watched as a new Wilkinson store was opened. To commemorate their opening store manager Jackie Attersall presented Robin House with a £200 donation.

3. Vikings help open up new bench

(Image: Archives) A new Roman bench sculpture was unveiled in some Drumchapel woodland 

4.  Traditional Scottish Lunch served to church

(Image: Archives) A Scottish lunch was served to mark St Andrew’s Day at Faifley Parish Church. Unity Enterprise laid on the spread for Faifley residents to celebrate the nation’s patron saint’s day.

5. Boat sets sail down canal for first time in decades

(Image: Archives) The boat carrying 33 people set off down the Forth and Clyde Canal at Bowling for the first time in five decades.

6. St Andrews Day in Auchnacraig

(Image: Archives) National pride sparked a day of Scottish-themed fun and games at the Auchnacraig Early Education Centre, in Faifley.
