A DRIVER told police officers she was "mad with it" while crying and laughing.
Rosie Couper was spotted in her car on the evening of July 27 this year on Balshagray Avenue in Jordanhill.
She was approached by a concerned bystander, who noted that she was under the influence and they phoned Police Scotland.
While on the phone to the force, Couper could be heard in the background saying "I was the driver."
When cops arrived, the 34-year-old stumbled towards them and said: "I am mad with it, I was driving".
She was slurring her speech, crying and laughing.
A roadside breath test was carried out, which she failed.

The Whiteinch woman appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court after she admitted driving while her blood alcohol level was 131 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
Her solicitor told the court: "Her position is outlined in the report but there is no excuse. She is a genuine first offender and is embarrassed about this.
"The theme is alcohol being used as a coping mechanism. Supervision might give her some assistance."
Sheriff Jonathan Guy replied: "It’s a high reading and I have to take that into consideration. It is a positive report."
Couper was sentenced to nine months of supervision and 80 hours of unpaid work, to be completed in six months.
She was also disqualified from driving for one year.
