Residents of Blairdardie are in for a festive treat next week as the community gets set for its Christmas light switch-on.
Blairdardie Community Council is putting on the event at 2pm on Monday, December 2 .
It will be held at the green space between Kirkhope Drive and Morraine Avenue.

Pupils from Blairdardie Primary School will be singing Christmas Carols at the event.
Children from some of the local nurseries will also be in attendance.
