Residents of Drumchapel are in for a festive treat this weekend as the community gets set for its Christmas light switch-on.
The area's community council is putting on the event at Drumchapel Park from 4.30pm on Saturday, November 30.
Children in attendance will get a visit from Santa and there will also be carol singing.
It is the third year in a row that the event is taking place and Andy Lynch, chair of Drumchapel Community Council, is looking forward to the switch-on.
He said: "We love doing this every Christmas and we feel it is a great way for the community to come together.
"You will not want to miss it."
