The annual Christmas lights switch-on has taken place in Duntocher.

It was held in the local village hall on Saturday, November 30.

(Image: Glynis Rashid Boyle) As well as the Christmas tree being illuminated, there was live festive music provided by junior members of Clydebank Musical Society, a meet and greet with Santa, a raffle, a Christmas jumper competition and a live DJ.

Carol singing was also provided by St Mary's and Trinity Church choirs.

(Image: Glynis Rashid Boyle) The event raised £903.55 which will go toward next year's display.

The lights were switched on by Douglas McAllister MP.
