A Glasgow football club has raised funds for a local youth group after hosting a charity match.
Knightswood FC hosted the event on Sunday, November 10 with the fixture seeing a team of players from the past take on a Saint Anthony's Legends side.
The game took place at Holm Park in Yoker, with Knightswood Legends winning 5-2.
An event was then held that evening in the Signal Box Bar on Fulton Street, with £3000 was raised for the football club and £575 also generated for local youth club The Hut.
Paul Smith, project leader at the club, detailed the importance of the donation.
He said: "I want to thank the club for their kindness and generosity, this will go a long way towards the kids' Christmas Parties and towards the funds for our new premises.
"It is an amazing gesture which will really help those who need it in the local community."
Knightswood FC marked its 50th anniversary back in June with a special reception at Glasgow City Chambers.

As well as the civic reception, the club also held a function on April 27 at the Crown Plaza to mark the occasion, with over 320 people attending and £7000 was raised for the club.
Graham Haig, chairman of the team, feels the organisation will continue to go from strength to strength, insisting things have exceeded his wildest expectations from when he founded the club with friends David Gilchrist and Tommy Gordon over 50 years ago.
He said: “When I first started the club I was still playing football and then when the team started to grow I had the choice to make of continuing to play the game myself or run the youth side.
"I am delighted with the choice I made. We have won over 120 trophies over the last five decades and long may that success continue.
"Knightswood has a community football club which serves the area, while also teaching kids life skills and discipline, as well as offering them a place they can call home.
"That is a great legacy to leave."
