A CLOSED community centre in Drumchapel is the latest building in the area to be targeted by vandals.
The outside land outside the old Stonedyke Neighbourhood Centre on Belsyde Avenue was set on fire on the evening of Monday, June 7.
The building is currently shut due to roofing leaks, lack of land maintenance and the lack of a kitchen inside the property.
Video footage shows stools in the play park outside the building have been badly burnt and that a break in from the door leading into the building was attempted.
One resident said: "I have been involved within the centre from a very young age. It breaks my heart to see it going the way it is.
"There are years of happy memories within this place, from gala days to summer play schemes, social nights and loads more.
"It was the beating heart of Belsyde Avenue where we could all come together community facilities within Drumchapel."

Independent Drumchapel/Anniesland councillor Elspeth Kerr said: "We really need something done quickly about this situation before this building gets set on fire and we lose another good community building.
"We have too few community buildings left in Drumchapel to allow the Stonedyke Centre to be vandalised beyond repair."
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 3.39pm on Monday, June 7, to reports of a fire in the open at Belsyde Avenue, Drumchapel.
“Operations Control mobilised one appliance and firefighters extinguished the fire.
“There were no reported casualties and crews left after ensuring the area was made safe.”
