RUGBY is back in Clydebank as the town’s rugby club have started preparations for the upcoming season — with coach David Miller insisting the league title is their target this year.
Clydebank Rugby Club’s coach David Miller has been putting the senior squad through some hard sessions and has been excited by the enthusiasm shown by all the players.
Numbers have been high as has been the quality on show with players keen to impress and cement their place in the first team.
He said: “We are going for the league title after spending too many years fighting relegation and not fulfilling our potential. So the squad has been pushed to the limit and everyone is really enjoying training.” If you are interested in taking up rugby, senior men’s training is on every Tuesday and Thursday at 7pm at Clydebank Rugby Club at Dean Street.
The club have a ladies team who train at the same time and also have a junior section, the Clydebank Titans who train on Thursday at 6pm.
