The Bankies are sitting pretty at the top of the WoSFL and, although they have played more games than those chasing them, it's always good to have points on the board.
Yes, Clydebank are four points clear from last season’s winners Beith Juniors and will be looking to extend that lead as they travel to Govan on Saturday for a rearranged game against Benburb.
With Beith in South Challenge Cup duty, this weekend’s away fixture will be a chance to not only go further ahead but also gain a small slice of revenge against the team who have inflicted Clydebank's only league defeat of the season so far.
Newly promoted Benburb arrived at Holm Park on the opening day of the season in July (yes, that long ago!) and shocked Holm Park as they departed with a 3-2 win.
And, although boss Gordon Moffat insists his team are treating the hastily arranged tussle as any other game, many in Bankie colours will be keen to restore some form of parity with a win at what will be a tough venue to go to.
As always, the Caskie Clydebank Supporters Bus will be taking fans to and from the game.
