DRUMCHAPEL United has officially opened two new terraced stands in the hope of boosting their chances of being able to compete in the Scottish Cup.
The West of Scotland League side insist it is the final step needed to acquire their SFA licence which is what is preventing them from taking part in the tournament currently.
The stands were opened last Saturday at the Donald Dewar Sports Centre prior to the club's 1-0 victory over Johnstone Burgh.
Supplied and fitted by Ashton Building Systems, they were officially unveiled by the business' owner Gary Easton and former Rangers star Nacho Novo, who is a member of the coaching staff.
Drumchapel co-manager Adam Hopes said: "It’s a great day for Drumchapel United and thanks to Aston we have submitted our application to become a licensed club which is amazing for our community and everyone connected to the team.
"The Donald Dewar is starting to look like a great football facility and we are grateful for their support to get to this point."

Garry added: "Our managing director is originally from Drumchapel and given the fact Ashton’s first premises was also in the area, we felt it would be a great fit as a way for us to embrace our roots and also help the club out."
The club have only been in the Scottish Cup once in their short history since being founded in 2001.
Back in the 2021/22 campaign, the sixth-tier side reached the last 32 of the competition, which included beating professional club Edinburgh City.
Their journey ultimately ended at the hands of Elgin City.
